Diego Rivera's America

This piece was in celebration of Diego Rivera's exhibition "Diego Rivera's America" at SFMOMA. I animated Rivera's "Pan-American Unity" and projected the panels created by Lauren D'Amato across the white box space in SFMOMA.
On the opening day, La Doña performed with live visuals of the mural and video collage by Derek and Lauren. Visuals also included Lauren painting La Doña's 1968 Impala. The vehicle was also in the lobby of the exhibition entrance for visitors to see on the day of the opening.
